Adam Koch (Accounting)
Professor Koch has expertise in financial reporting, financial statement analysis, and managerial accounting. He has taught a variety of graduate, undergraduate, and executive education courses in financial and managerial accounting. He is currently teaching financial accounting in the M.S. in Commerce Program and an undergraduate elective in financial statement analysis. He received an All-University Teaching Award from the University of Virginia in 2015. Professor Koch published his work in such journals as The Accounting Review; Accounting Horizons; The Journal of Finance; and Journal of Corporate Finance.
Jeremy Marcel (Strategy)
Professor Jeremy Marcel specializes in strategic management and various theories of decision making and corporate governance. His current research emphasizes CEO successions and corporate director reputation. Professor Marcel worked in the banking industry before becoming an academic. He has published research addressing top management teams and firm performance. He has also published research on corporate governance and has conducted several research projects exploring the role of managerial decision making. Professor Marcel is a graduate of Georgia State University, where he received several awards for his research and teaching."
Mark White (Finance)
Professor Mark White’s academic expertise lies in the areas of corporate finance and sustainable business practices. He teaches financial management at the McIntire School of Commerce and has developed and taught numerous courses at McIntire and the Darden School of Business addressing business’s relationship with the natural environment. A former Fulbright scholar, Dr. White speaks fluent German and currently holds a visiting professorship in environmental economics at the Technische Universität Dresden."
Peter Kaye (Marketing)
Developed by Peter Kaye UVA McIntire ‘89 and Harvard Business School ‘94, this course is based on his general management and marketing operating experience at large companies like Coca-Cola, Diageo, and Nestle and entrepreneurial ventures such as Honest Tea.
