This course is an online, self-paced introduction to the role of financial management in organizations. Students will explore actual financial statements and learn how firms track resources, measure performance, and use financial information for decision-making.

Course Facilitators:Mark White
Professor Mark White’s academic expertise lies in the areas of corporate finance and sustainable business practices. He teaches financial management at the McIntire School of Commerce and has developed and taught numerous courses at McIntire and the Darden School of Business addressing business’s relationship with the natural environment.
A former Fulbright scholar, Dr. White speaks fluent German and currently holds a visiting professorship in environmental economics at the Technische Universität Dresden.
